The Gasteropoda fingerless mitts are named after a snail for the snail-like spiraling. The slow changing of the color of the yarn is shown off by this construction.

Yarn Requirements: fingering weight yarn, approx 200-400 yards
Gauge: 33 sts/46 rnds = 4” in stockinette stitch on US size 1.5 (2.5mm) needles
Difficulty: intermediate
Size: S [M, L] - to fit arm circumference (unstretched) 7 [8, 9] inches, or moderately stretched: 8.5" [9.5", 10.5"].  Length in photo, approximately 10 inches.
